The impact of tourism on employment, linkage effects with other economic sectors, namely agriculture, fishing and commerce and on infrastructure in Malindi had been great.

Malindi is situated on the coast of the Indian Ocean almost midway between the port cities of Lamu and Mombasa, Malindi has played an important role in the coastal economy since the settling of the area by the Swahili people more than 500 years ago.

Malindi beaches are magical; the perfect portrayal of what heaven might actually look like. God must have created them on the same day as He did wine because boy, they have this incredible effect on us.

Literally, the best beaches in Malindi town are what everyone has in mind when they speak of perfection. They are clean, accessible, and well connected to quality restaurants, hotels, shops, and bars.

They ooze of class which is perhaps one of the reasons they are popular for the grassroots of foreigners that jet to Malindi county on a daily basis.
